Approach to Care
Cheryl provides primary care services to people of all ages. Her approach to care is preventative. She treats acute conditions and helps patients manage chronic conditions to achieve their wellness goals. Cheryl takes time to listen and understand her patients to provide the best care possible and connect them to any needed outside services. She has worked as a primary care nurse practitioner since 2017.
Education
After high school, Cheryl attended Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology. She worked in sports medicine for a while, then attended Ivy Tech, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Surgical technology. She worked at Columbus Regional Hospital as a surgical tech before going to nursing school. In 2009, Cheryl graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in nursing. In 2017, she earned a Master of Science (MS) in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Cheryl is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Cheryl started a private family practice where she worked for 3.5 years, serving 1500 patients.
Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys fitness activities. She is an avid runner and enjoys playing tennis.
