Mental Health / Behavioral Care
Centerstone Health Services (CHS) offers a full range of mental health services to help you get through the tough times and live your best life.
Counseling, or therapy, can help you achieve a happier, healthier you. Together, you and your provider will work to create a custom treatment plan to fit your needs and tackle the challenges you face. You’ll learn tools you can use in your daily life to help you deal with life’s obstacles and maintain your wellness.
During your first appointment, you and your counselor will talk and get to know each other. They will ask you questions about your life, challenges, preferences, goals, and mental health history.
Your counselor will work with you to determine what type of counseling setting best suits your unique needs:
In individual counseling, you will meet one-on-one with a counselor. Your counselor will listen to you with an open, non-judgmental ear and provide evidence-based tools and practices to help you. Whether you are working through a traumatic event, needing new coping skills, or trying to break free from bad habits, your counselor can help get you where you want to be.
Sometimes, group counseling works best to tackle particular problems. Participating in group counseling is similar to individual counseling, except you will be with other people who may be experiencing similar problems or situations to yours. The group can share experiences and work together toward recovery and well-being. Group counseling is provided by referral to Centerstone of Indiana.
With family counseling, you and other members of your family (spouses, partners, children, parents, and or siblings) meet together with a provider to improve relationships and any mental health challenges the family might be experiencing. Family counseling is provided by referral to Centerstone of Indiana.
Let our expert psychiatrists, psychologists and case managers evaluate you to assist in determining the type of mental health care you need. Treatment can include outpatient therapy, medication management and other solutions to assist you in living a healthy and fulfilling life. Our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) certified providers can help you with Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) as well.
Our staff will work with you to figure out what kind of care is the best fit for your needs.
