Bridget has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for 10+ years. During her career, she has worked as a labor and delivery nurse and as a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. Bridget is passionate about the care she provides for her patients. She continually works to coordinate care and overcome obstacles that prevent patients from getting the care they need.
Bridget took an indirect path to become a nurse. A gifted bass violinist, Bridget came to the United States from Canada to study music at Interlochen, Michigan. After that, she studied Music at the University of Michigan for two years before transferring to the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where she graduated in 1992. Later, when her daughter was born, Bridget fell in love with the idea of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. That led her back to school to study nursing. She graduated Cum Laude from Ivy Tech in 2003, earning her RN. In 2010, Bridget graduated with honors, earning her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from IUPUI, becoming a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
When she’s not working, Bridget enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and bernedoodle dog.
