Sheila’s years of experience, education, and empathetic approach to counseling make her the perfect guide to help you navigate life’s obstacles, relationship issues, addiction, and recovery from trauma. She has worked with children and adults. She has also worked in a supervisory role, overseeing other therapists’ work.
Education
After high school, Sheila attended Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 1972. She continued her education, attending graduate school at Smith College in North Hampton, Massachusetts, graduating in 1974 with a Master of Science in Social Work (MSW) degree. Sheila is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC).
