Patricia Rubino
Patricia Rubino, MSN/CNS, PNP, PMHNP, brings over four decades of experience as a Child/Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. With a strong focus on relational trauma and attachment theory, her treatment style centers on meeting the individual needs and experiences of her patients. Patricia’s approach ensures a personalized plan that addresses both emotional and physical wellbeing for optimal outcomes. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where patients can feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
Education
Patricia’s extensive educational background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of both the physical and psychological aspects of child and family care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and post-graduate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certificates.
Of her decades-long career, Patricia has spent 32 years working in various children’s hospitals including hematology/oncology, ICU, neurotrauma pediatrics, and family psychiatry units. This diverse experience has provided her with a well-rounded perspective on pediatric healthcare, allowing her to approach patient treatment holistically.
When Patricia is not practicing healthcare, she finds joy and fulfillment in spending time with her daughter, walking her dogs, cooking, traveling, participating in church activities, and enjoying the calming presence of the sea. Deeply committed to making the world a better place for children and families, she has even established a ministry called Hope 127 which is dedicated to providing support for foster and adoptive families.
