Mary has worked as a Nurse Practitioner since 2007. She provides patient-centered care focused on prevention. With patient-centered care, your provider recommends treatment and prevention options, then you decide what course of action to take. Mary finds that when patients take charge of their care, they’re able to change their lives for the better. Playing a part in improving health and well-being is what she finds most rewarding about her job.
Mary decided on her career path after watching a movie about a nurse when she was eight. Following that path, Mary graduated from Indiana University East in Richmond with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) in 1985. She went on to earn her Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing degree from IUPUI in 2007, becoming a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
